Recommended to us by the hotel across the street as the "only thing to do around here." Figuring that it was going to be much better than the in-house "bistro" we decided to play Frogger across the street and check out this bar. And that's exactly what it is, a no-frills southern bar with sports and beer. When we visted, they had a special on for a variety of Stone brewing drafts which was a pleasant surprise. There's also access to an outdoor "smoking tent" which was serviced by its own bar -- the lengths people go to avoid local liquor and smoking laws. But it was great for its purpose, despite the unholy amalgamation of dad/southern rock remixes that the "DJ" was playing. So come here, enjoy the beer and food, just bring a pair of ear plugs if you dare venture into the tent.
My husband got the special which was a burger. By far the best burger we've had on our trip to Virginia. We also got onion rings which came fresh. We enjoyed watching the Vikings vs Bears game.
Enjoyed the nice country rock music on porch, had a few beers and the club sandwich. Went inside to warm up and they had this terrible DJ with rap music. It appeared to be a duo a bald guy trying to pick up girls shooting pool and a short heavyset woman playing rap. I asked her what was with the rap since the crowd was obviously older rockers. She stated that she had a request from the girl her partner was shooting pool with and she was playing it. Well I looked at the crowd and commented I guess the crowd doesn't matter.
You can't go wrong at I Dont Know, entertainment, great bands, indoor, out door, great food. If your not a drinker tou,will,still enjoy the entertainment, food and socializing. Great people, very friendly atmosphere!
She proceeded to yell at me. She had been doing this for 35 years... Excuse me I thought I was the customer just asking to change from Rap to Rock. Don't go here at least when they have these sick DJ's trying to pick up customers and forgetting the paying customers. She was arrogant as hell!!
