Bed was very comfortable. The heating lamp in bathroom was fantastic. Bathroom was very clean that's is why 2 star. Room trash on floor upon check in. Freezer had around 2 inches of ice build up. You can obviously see where the floor was vacuum n not
We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our room.There was a large sitting area with a couch and chair. The bathroom was also large with a separate area with sink and vanity. Amenities include a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and guest laundry. Breakfast is also included. Shopping and various restaurants are within walking distance from the motel. My wife and I were pleased with the accommodations and will definitely stay here again when visiting Savannah.
Hopefully it will be better in the future since I can see a lot of renovations going on. The renovations look nice. My room was good. It was clean and made everyday. There was cookies most of the time. The breakfast is alright. Its a smaller selection from the other comfort inns I've been too. I was kind of disappointed in the pool being closed but its Virginia in Oct. I'm from Florida. I swim everyday cause I'm pregnant and it soothes my sore ankles. As soon as the clock strikes 5 half of Virginia was closed.
This hotel is currently going thru renovations. The breakfast is pretty decent. The lady, Geraldine, who takes care of the breakfast gets 5 stars, love her too death. Very wonderful lady and helpful. Housekeepers are very loud and obnoxious. I work at night, therefore sleeping during the day and these ladies will turn the door latches and let the doors slam all day long instead of propping the doors open when they go in and out while cleaning them. The front desk folks are friendly.
The woman at the front desk, Patty, was very accommodating. Called earlier in the day for a same day reservation; she notifying me there was a large group and she wasn't sure our 2 rooms could be connected. We were happily surprised they were not only connecting, but also in the newly renovated area. Both the king room and the 2 full bed room were comfortable with plenty of comfortable pillows. The outdoor pool was a plus as well, just have to ask for pool towels! Even while under renovation, they had a decent breakfast, complete with waffle maker, yogurt and fresh fruit.
