It is an older building, but it is the lack of maintenance that is the issue. It is a comfortable room, with modern style furnishings. The wallpaper is peeling in various areas. The lobby restroom has only part of a toilet paper holder so the paper is sitting on the floor, there is no cover on the light and no soap or even a dispenser. Marriott should seriously consider pulling the franchise from this location.
The building was under renovation while I was there. Even though my room wasn't renovated it was very nice. I never heard any construction noise or anything while I was there. The room did have a really strong cologne smell, but I'm guessing the last person to stay in that room spilled some. The food area/lounge is very nice. You also have Don Pepe across the road which is a really good Mexican restaurant.
The room was fine and the front desk was helpful. Selection of items in the marketplace was lacking - there wasn't a decent pain killer available and the inventory was lacking. Price for stay was good.
The hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms were spacious. The hotel itself seems slightly older but in decent shape. Didn't check out the amenities but they seem nice. Front desk staff was very friendly
Rooms were modern and clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. It was a short stay so I can't comment on any other features.
